Rates change on quarterly boundaries and we do not always catch them the same week. If a figure here disagrees with a state revenue agency table, the agency is right and we want to know.

What to include in a correction

The page URL and the figure you believe is wrong.
A link to the state revenue agency page showing the correct rate.
The effective date of the change, if the agency states one.

Corrections with a source link are applied ahead of everything else in the queue. City requests are welcome but are added only once we have read the rate components from the source, which takes longer.
